Sofia Vergara

  Sofia Margarita Vergara Vergara ( born July 10 1972) is a Colombian and American actress and model.



 



 Vergara gained prominence as host of two Spanish-language television Univision's late 1990s television shows. Chasing Papi (2003) was her first major acting role in English. Later, she appeared in Four Brothers (2006) and Tyler Perry's comedy, Come on! (2008). Madea Goes to Jail was nominated for an ALMA Award. In 2009, she began as Gloria Delgado Pritchett, an ABC comedy series. She was nominated four times for Golden Globe Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards and eleven Screen Actor Guild Awards.
